Another Richmond elementary school is reporting a COVID-19 exposure.
A letter was sent to parents of R.J. Tait elementary students on Tuesday, informing them of the exposure.
The school said that it would not be providing any specific details about the exposure – including when it occurred – due to privacy reasons.
Two other Richmond elementary schools – McNeely and Spul’u’kwuks – also reported COVID-19 exposures this week, with letters sent out on Monday.
Vancouver Coastal Health has contacted anyone identified as a close contact and has required them to self-isolate, according to the letter from Tait.
“At this time, there is no evidence to suggest there has been any exposure to the wider staff or student community,” it reads.
Areas of the school that may have been affected by the exposure have been deep-cleaned.
