T&T Supermarkets now require all shoppers to wear a mask to guard against the spread of COVID-19. The policy came into effect Monday.
“As spring approaches, I'm sure you are eager but a bit nervous to get out. We welcome you back and want to update you on some new things happening at T&T. Starting Monday, May 11th, we are requiring all customers to wear a face covering when shopping at T&T.
“We believe it’s the most effective way of preventing the spread of germs, and by wearing a mask, you will help protect yourself, and our colleagues,” said Tina Lee, CEO of the supermarket, in a statement.
The Asian grocery giant also announced online that it is giving priority access to frontline healthcare workers last week.
By presenting their healthcare ID at store entrances, healthcare employees are able to skip the lines.
