The old overpopulation myth again? Earth currently produces enough food to feed over 20 billion people at a North American standard.
The problem is not supply, but inequitable redistribution along with preventable waste. If we took the money spent on war in the past thirty years and invested in orbital solar panel arrays and asteroid mining, we would have unlimited pollution-free energy and metals now. Breed smarter, not fewer.
