The Editor,
Kudos to the artistic soul who designs the absolutely lovely median plantings, especially the ones around the intersection of No. 2 and No. 3 roads and Westminster Highway. The harmony of colours and the clever gradations in height create a feast for the eye. But what on earth were city planners thinking when they permitted the only remaining heritage home on River Road (near Gibbons) to be razed, and likely replaced by another sterile mausoleum-type house with permanently closed blinds? I only just discovered this travesty and it saddens me very much.
