The Editor,
Re: "City urged to ban chaining of dogs," News, Sept. 14.
City councils should not be giving an audience to Janet Olson, former director of A Better Life Dog Rescue.
Her defunct organization has serious criminal charges pending such as break and enter and theft to name a few. One director has already pleaded guilty and Olson herself is facing court over these allegations. Nowhere else would you grant a person with criminal charges pending against them an audience in city hall.
I know of owners of dogs her organization "rescued." This caused the owners emotional and financial costs trying to locate their pets.
