Re: "Wong stands by decision to eat shark fin, News, Oct. 17.
I am extremely disappointed in your stance on shark finning.
Shark fin soup maybe a cultural habit, but that does not mean that we should not review the situation and adjust our behaviour once we have the facts in front of us.
As an MP who represents me, I would like you to act responsibly when the situation merits it.
Surely on reviewing the current state of shark harvesting, it must be apparent to you that this practice is not sustainable and will ultimately end in sharks disappearing from not just our menus, but from our oceans.
Please take the time to carefully and considerately review the information available to make responsible decisions on keeping our fisheries for future generations.
