What an excellent open letter to Mayor Brodie and councillors by biologist Otto E. Langer regarding the proposal by Vancouver Airport Fuel Facilities Corporation to ship jet fuel by tankers and barges into the Fraser River estuary.
Our daughter-in-law is a lawyer with Fisheries and her concern is fish farming and how it is affecting other fish.
Perhaps any time we try to "play God" and add hormones to animals, or not allow the land to lay fallow, fish farm, or put our greed first, then we play havoc with the environment.
Care for the environment should be our top priority as thinking and caring Canadians.
Our leaders need to lead the way to such careful planning.
