Dear Editor,
Re: “Council questions priorities,” Richmond News, March 8.
Recent coverage on a new acute care tower at Richmond Hospital is drawing attention to an urgent need in our community and we wish to add our support.
Our family has been in Richmond for generations, and we remember a time when Richmond did not have its own hospital. Today, everyone relies on having health care close by. We care deeply about Richmond’s future and we urge the province to approve the necessary plans now to ensure health care will be there for ourselves and our grandchildren for decades to come.
