Letters: Another pet owner argues against public money being spent on pets

Re: Letters: Vet bills are owners' responsibilities

I grew up in a family with as many, sometimes more, pets than people.

I’ve also had pets most of my life and am aware of how important they are and the lessons they teach us about life and love.

That having been said, sadly, I must agree with all of Craig Franzen’s points.

Pets are a choice and a personal responsibility. 

Too many people have difficulties just supporting themselves and their family.

Sad, but true.
