Dear Editor,

In this time of uncertainty when we are battling together this COVID-19 pandemic, and everyone is advised by health authorities to stay home for protection against this virus, I think it is a good time to look at images of some of Richmond’s beautiful places. It can be a respite and a moment’s break from our continuous monitoring of the current situation.

There are lots of photos of these local spots that are available, but I would like to submit some of my sketches of some of these local beauties.

Sketches offer personal and emotional input as experienced by the artist on site while sketching.

This is my way of helping to “flatten the curve” and at the same time encourage people, while staying inside their homes, to appreciate the beauty and wonders of these places in Richmond.

For now, I am sending this sketch of houses at Finn Slough at the end of No. 4 Road.
