Open letter to Alice Wong,
I am not surprised because your actions as an MP have clearly shown you do not care for environmental protection, let alone species on the verge of being endangered.
You have voted in favour of slaughtering baby seals for their pelt, repealing the Kyoto Protocol, repealing the Canadian Environment Assessment Act, removing habitat protection from the Fisheries Act, and removing protection of endangered species from the Species at Risk Act.
I do apologize for the demeaning tone of my letter, but I am disgusted with your lack of care for the shrinking resources.
My prior polite letters to you regarding your votes to take away protection from our environment were met with silence so I've decided on a new tone: sarcasm! I hope future generations don't look back in anger at us and wonder why we continued in our destructive habits when we had the chance to change.
The Conservatives can not be counted on to protect finite resources - it's money and big business first.
