I was astounded to read of MP Alice Wong's decision to abuse the position of elected MP by supporting the unnecessary slaughter of sharks. Has she no idea how to garner votes?
I and 95 per cent of my friends, who are mostly of Chinese descent and all living in Richmond, will no longer be supporting her.
We will also be avoiding any restaurant that serves shark fin soup. We eat out two to three times a week and have frequented the Jade on many occasions. Not any more.
