Re: "Wong stands by decision to eat shark fin," News, Oct. 17.
Alice Wong is amazing, a few weeks back, she was very happy to have a chauffer in Ottawa, it was such a time-saver. Now she feels hacking some poor shark up, for a fin, for soup is also fine and dandy.
She has proven one thing though, it is possible to get both your feet in your mouth at once, especially it you can show the people you are capable of thoughtless remarks and to be sure your press is all Asian.
I don't believe for a second that the good people of Richmond, Asian or otherwise, buy into the soup hoopla.
