I have recently become aware that Anthony Marr has asked to publicly debate MP Alice Wong, Coun. Chak Au and David Chung on the shark fin ban issue.
There have been so many contradicting facts being thrown out to the public and I feel like this would be an EXCELLENT way to get the truth out.
I have spoken to many people and they would all love to see this happen. If they have taken the time to educate themselves on this global issue (as leaders in our city, they have a responsibility to do so) and have legitimate reasons not to want a shark fin ban, then they should have no problem accepting this request from Marr. This idea has so much support behind it. Please seriously consider it.
