The Editor,
A recent trip to Steveston gave me the opportunity to suggest that our "parking stalker's" intelligent thinking is at a zero point.
We observed a "parking stalker" person ticketing a Washington State vehicle for parking approximately two feet within the limits of a fire hydrant.
There was no hindrance to fire fighting. The owner was given a ticket, a picture was taken and a towtruck ordered.
Do these municipal employees ever obtain training in compassion to visitors?
It seems to me that a tremendous opportunity for public relations was missed by this municipal employee by not leaving a visitors warning notice.
