The Editor,
Re: "Review Terra Nova proposal," Letters, Sept. 21.
I could not agree more with Mr. John Syred's letter. Why fix something that's not broke?
We have brought up two children here in Richmond, and it was always a treat to take them to the Terra Nova area and let them roam in the "wilderness" no zip line, and no playground. To them, it was just great. Why do we need all those extra attractions at great expense to the taxpayers?
This spring, our son was home from L.A. with his family, and he could not wait to show them where he roamed as a kid along the dyke at Terra Nova, but he came home very disappointed with these words, "They ruined it."
I rest my case.
