As I say goodbye for the summer and reflect on this challenging year in public education, I am moved to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to my wonderful students at MacNeill secondary.
Your smiles and heartfelt greetings as we started every class, your willingness to challenge yourselves as you explored new concepts, your kindness to others, your curiosity and creativity have filled my teaching days with great joy and confidence in the future.
Although I have been teaching for many years, it is because of you that I still feel the exuberance and excitement of a brand new teacher.
Thank you for this lovely warm glow. Enjoy a safe and restorative summer.
