On behalf of the Richmond Food Security Society, I'd like to thank the Richmond public for making our 4th annual Seedy Saturday such a huge success. We estimate that we doubled the number of participants and were able to launch our newest initiative, the Richmond Seed Library. A special thank-you to Cobs Bread on No. 3 Rd, Terra Nova Starbucks and Blessed Bee Farm for donating items that allowed us to do some fundraising.
Their contributions, in addition to our table fees, allowed us to raise $160 for the Shenanigans Youth Garden at Garratt Wellness Centre.
As ever, the Richmond community has made a huge contribution to helping our young people.
