It was another terrific weekend of outdoor summer basketball at the 33rd annual Dolphin Classic at South Arm Park. A big Sunday night crowd watched hometown standouts Elliot Mason and Brody Greig led the X-Falcons to their eighth title in tournament history, earning MVP and all-star honours respectively. A terrific women’s final saw the Original Grandma's trimming defending champion Fusion 53-52. Former University of the Fraser Valley standout Kayli Sartori earned MVP honours.
Kevin Kemp became a three-time winner of the always popular slam dunk contest. Jerric Palma was the three-point champion. The youth tournament also continues to big hit thanks to the efforts of organizer and RYBL coordinator Jessy Dhillon
