The annual Richmond World Festival lit up Minoru Park this weekend, helping close off the end of summer holidays.
From Friday, Aug. 30 to Saturday, Aug. 31, visitors could explore the globe through more than 100 different performers, 60-plus food trucks and artisan marketplace. There were also sports and kids activities, an ice rink, how-to's for cultural crafts like origami or finger weaving, and a chefs' stage. Headlining the festival were Canadian bands Bedouin Soundclash (Aug. 30) and The Strumbellas (Aug. 31).
