Fun fact about Richmond...

Do you know the history of Paulik Park?

The six-acre Paulik Park was once owned and inhabited by two families  — the Ohlers and the Pauliks — who were there already in the 1930s.

Paulik Park can be found south of General Currie Road between Ash and Heather streets.

The city bought the park several years ago and Ed Paulik continued to live there and maintain the gardens until he passed away in 2008. The family home was then demolished.

Richmond Garden Club adopted this city-owned park in 2008 and they continue to help maintain the perennial gardens.

Read about the history of the park from former Richmond News columnist Lynda Pasacreta.
