On Wednesday, Joel Baziuk, of the Steveston Harbour Authority, was awarded the Prix d’Excellence, by Fisheries Minister Dominic LeBlanc.
The award goes to those who are dedicated to improving harbour operations across Canada.
"His hard work to improve the vitality of the harbour benefits the entire community," said LeBlanc.
Baziuk is president of the Harbour Authority Association of B.C.
