Holiday-themed events are in full gear in Richmond - from musicals to a community Christmas party.

1. Watch a musical

Watch an award-winning musical adaption of Charles Dickens's novel, Oliver Twist

A production of 24 actors, including 11 kids, will be performing at Richmond's Gateway Theatre through the winter holidays with spirited songs like "Food, Glorious Food," and "Consider Yourself."

2. Free photography workshop

Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your photography skills, a workshop is being held for all photography enthusiasts.

3. Thermomix Christmas party

Are you a Thermomix fan? A festive celebration with delicious food, activities and a day of cooking demonstrations and Thermomix tips and tricks is happening this weekend.

The free four-hour event will see Thermomix enthusiasts get to know each other and learn new recipes for the holidays.
