The Carnival, a comedy night and an artists' open mic are all happening this weekend.

From the annual Carnival to comedy, there's something for everyone this weekend in Richmond.

1. Carnival at Lansdowne 

Until Sunday, April 13

The annual West Coast Amusement's Carnival launched at Lansdowne on Thursday and continues until April 13. It's open this weekend from noon to 10 p.m. It's closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Wednesday to Friday, they are open 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. They will close at 6 p.m. on the last day, Sunday, April 13.

2. Comedy night at Gateway Theatre

Saturday, March 29, 1 to 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Richmond Comedy Classic presented by Jokers Canada will take place at the Gateway Theatre this Saturday. The comedy show is for audiences 19 years and older. Tickets are priced at $35, $42 and $49 and are available through Gateway Theatre.

3. Artist open mic at Steveston Hub 

Saturday, March 29, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Steveston Hub, at 3551 Moncton St., will hold an open mic evening with music, poetry and more. Each artist will be allowed to perform two pieces.
