A Richmond-based real estate developer has donated $10,000 to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.
The donation was made to the foundation's new Power Up Campaign for advanced technology in the future Yurkovich Family Pavilion, the new acute care tower, at Richmond Hospital.
“As a significant industrial real estate owner and developer in Metro Vancouver, we strive to create and sustain lasting value through innovation and accountability,” said Ken Low, president and CEO of Montrose Properties.
“And this aligns with the goal of Richmond Hospital Foundation’s Power UP Campaign — to equip the acute care tower with innovative tools so the health-care facility will be efficient well into the future.”
The Power Up Campaign's goal is to provide more access, efficient and patient-centred care through technology advancements in the new acute care tower including in the emergency department and operating rooms.
“We are grateful for corporate citizens like Montrose Properties. They truly understand the profound impact innovation can make,” said Nathalie Meixner, president and CEO of the Richmond Hospital Foundation.
“Their philanthropic support will help provide lasting, future-forward care for our community, and enhance the health-care experience for patients and their families.”
