Connor, Clark and Lunn Financial Group donated $25,000 to benefit the Richmond Hospital Foundation’s recent fundraising initiative.

The funds donated are going towards the hospital’s mental health campaign, which will make sure people are provided with the appropriate mental health recovery and care at the In-Patient Acute Mental Health Unit, according to the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

“My hope is that this contribution will further inspire joyful giving to Richmond Hospital Foundation,” said Daniel Wong, vice-president and portfolio manager at Connor, Clark and Lunn Private Capital.

He added that mental health impacts ourselves as well as those around us “more than we may realize.”

“This campaign has already gone a long way in improving the lives and overall health of our community; however, the work is not done. Let's all continue to seek ways to make a positive impact."

Natalie Meixner, president and CEO of Richmond Hospital Foundation, said the new In-Patient Acute Mental Health Unit will play a “significant role” in a person’s mental health recovery.

“We are extremely grateful to Connor, Clark & Lunn Financial Group for helping our health care teams provide the best possible mental health care and create a positive experience for our patients and their families.”
