The Richmond-based Forever Young running and walking club raised and donated $4,700 to the Dream-On Foundation.
The money was raised at the Forever Young 8K event, held at the Richmond Olympic Oval in September.
About 300 seniors aged 55 and older took part in the run/walk event from the Oval to Terra Nova and back.
At the club's annual year-end banquet, they presented the cheque to the Dream-On Foundation.
Forever Young celebrated its 10th anniversary this year.
