The Richmond Art Gallery is hosting an excellent exhibition from local artists who present a variety of media.
The Richmond Arts Coalition (RAC) partnered with the Richmond Art Gallery, to curate the fifth edition of ArtRich.
When I visited, the gallery was quiet — and it really deserves more visitors and attention.
The very high quality exhibition presents the art works of 50 emerging and established artists from Richmond, the Lower Mainland, and nearby communities.
As described in their website, “The Richmond Arts Coalition is a voice for artists and the arts in Richmond. A volunteer-led organization, RAC offers opportunities for artists and the arts within Richmond; informs artists and assists with innovative ideas; connects artists, businesses, and audiences; and engages and advocates for the arts community.”
The exhibit runs until Dec. 31 and is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday and noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Well worth the visit.
