Community members were determined to celebrate the holidays and support a good cause despite a rainy start to Sunday morning.
Classic cars dressed up for the holidays cruised through Steveston on Nov. 3 for the annual Christmas Car Cruise in support of the Richmond Christmas Fund.
Drivers donning festive attire — and the Grinch, who was crouched in the back of a car — waved to community members as the vehicles made their entrance under a balloon arch by the Steveston Hotel and The Buck & Ear Bar and Grill.
The parade then returned to the hotel parking lot, where the cars were put on display for two hours.
Donations including unwrapped toys and cash were collected for the Richmond Christmas Fund.
Community members also enjoyed horse-drawn carriage rides around the village throughout Sunday by donating to Richmond Christmas Fund.
