A Richmond bakery is hosting a one-day charity sale to benefit the Richmond Hospital Foundation.

Saint Germain Bakery inside Aberdeen Centre will be donating 100 per cent of its sales made on Sunday, Oct. 6 to support the local hospital foundation in providing essential health-care services to the community.

Mickey Zhao, director of Saint Germain Bakery, said the Richmond Hospital Foundation plays a vital role in making a "tangible difference" in the lives of community members who rely on the hospital for treatment.

"We are incredibly fortunate to be part of such a vibrant and supportive community, and this fundraiser is our way of showing our gratitude," said Zhao.

“By donating an entire day’s proceeds to the Richmond Hospital Foundation, we hope to play a small part in helping our neighbours and loved ones receive the care they deserve. We’re proud to use our passion for what we do to give back, and we invite everyone to join us in making a difference, one bun at a time.”

The bakery will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at unit 1428 - 4151 Hazelbridge Way.
