Do you know when Aberdeen Centre was built in Richmond?
The original Aberdeen Centre was built in 1989 and was widely considered the first Asian mall in Richmond.
It was initially named "Hong Kong Centre" in Chinese, referring to the Aberdeen district of Hong Kong and was known for its Asian-style retail and entertainment.
In 2003, Aberdeen Centre was rebuilt and expanded, and 10 years later, a new part of the complex called Aberdeen Square opened in 2013.
