Registration for the new school year is now open for Chabad Richmond Hebrew School, and it's offering a sneak peek of its upcoming curriculum.
"'Bereishit - The Story of My Life' is an invigorating curriculum which explores the vibrant history of the Jewish nation," said Chana Gordon, school director.
"Beginning with the story of Adam and Eve and through the birth of the Jewish people, students are taken on an immersive journey allowing them to use their creative minds and imagination."
Students are encouraged to take an active leadership role and express themselves, and the school uses modern methods of teaching including STEM to accommodate the needs of every child.
The goal, added Gordon, is to achieve "a nurtured Jewish identity, a healthy self-esteem, long-lasting friendships, and a sense of community."
