Portraits of Richmond seniors painted by local artists are now on display at the Minoru Centre for Active Living (MCAL).
The third annual Faces of Richmond Gallery exhibition saw more than 70 attendees at the opening reception on June 3 to kick off BC Seniors' Week.
The Community Arts Council of Richmond is hosting a gallery exhibit featuring 14 painted portraits. These are on display on the second floor of the Senior Centre at MCAL until July 26 and are free for viewing to the public.
Recorded audio stories of the seniors accompany each portrait on display via a QR code.
For those unable to visit in person, a virtual gallery is also available on the Community Arts Council of Richmond's website.
After the exhibit, all portraits will be gifted to their respective senior models.
