Thirteen scheduled power outages expected in Richmond this week

Richmond residents in multiple areas will experience power outages as BC Hydro has scheduled repair and replacement work on Nov. 13 and 15 of this week.

BC Hydro plans regular power outages to perform work on equipment or power lines that require them to be de-energized, according to its website.

“By planning the outage and doing the necessary work, our crews can prevent a potential unplanned emergency outage in the future, where a part of the system unexpectedly fails or malfunctions,” says BC Hydro's website.

Here is the list of power outages scheduled for the upcoming week:

Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 56 customers at:

  • 9280, 9300, 9320, 9331, 9340, 9351, 9360, 9380, 9400, 9420, 9440 and 9460 Arrowsmith Dr.
  • 10320, 10340, 10360, 10380, 10400, 10411, 10420, 10431, 10440, 10451, 10460, 10480, 10500, 10520, 10531, 10540, 10551, 10560, 10571, 10580, 10600, 10620, 10640, 10660, 10671, 10680, 10691, 10700, 10711, 10720, 10731, 10740, 10751, 10760, 10771, 10780, 10791, 10800, 10811, 10820, 10831, 10840, 10851 and 10860 Athabasca Dr.

Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 38 customers at:

  • 8431,8480, 8486, 8531, 8540, 8542, 8551 and 8560 Rosebank Cres.
  • 8411, 8431, 8440, 8451, 8471, 8491, 8511 8520, 8531, 8540, 8551, 8560, 8571 and 8580 Rosehill Dr.
  • 10851, 10860, 10871, 10891, 10900,10911, 10920, 10931, 10951,10960 and10971 Roseland Gate
  • 8531, 8551, 8520, 8540 and 8560 Rosemary Ave.

Nov. 21 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 29 customers at:

  • 8671 to 8771 Delware Rd.
  • 8691 to 6240 Doulton Ave.

Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 27 customers at:

  • 7000 and 7011 Williams Rd.

Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 21 customers at:

  • 9633 Steveston Hwy.

Nov. 21 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 16 customers at:

  • 10751 to 11380 Seahurst Rd.

Nov. 21 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect less than five customers at:

  • 5871, 5891, 5911 and 5931 Sandpiper Crt.

Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 32 customers at:

  • 9571 Haddon Dr.
  • 5188 to 5580 Mytko Cres.
  • 9622, 9700 and 9708 Railway Ave,

Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 21 customers at:

  • Unit 1 to 20, 9633 Steveston Hwy.

Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 19 customers at:

  • Unit 1 to 17, 8620 Railway Ave.

Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect 14 customers at:

Nov. 22 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect nine customers at:

  • 9099 No. 2 Rd.

Nov. 22 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Planned work on BC Hydro equipment will affect eight customers at:

  • 10640, 10660, 10680, 10700, 10731, 10751, 10771 and 10791 Rosebrook Rd.
