Wendy Tsui has been with Gateway Theatre for almost seven years, currently holding the title of marketing manager, where she plans and leads the execution of marketing campaigns for all of Gateway Theatre’s artistic offerings and youth theatre classes via the Gateway Academy.
A graduate of SFU Beedie School of Business with a joint major in marketing and psychology, Tsui was immediately captivated by live theatre after watching her first show, Don’t Dress for Dinner at Gateway Theatre as a young adult.
Ever since she has been passionate about sharing the magic of the arts with others in the community.
Born and raised in Richmond, Tsui is committed to making a difference in the community. When she’s not working, you’ll find her walking at one of Richmond’s many dog parks and trails with her corgi, Chloe.

With 360-degree views of the mountains and the water, it has to be Iona Beach.
What song best describes Richmond?
It’s My Life by Bon Jovi. It’s an awesome place to live and I love seeing others just living their life in the city.
Where in Richmond do you to take out-of-town guests?
Steveston! There’s nothing like Timothy’s frozen yogurt on a nice sunny day.
