Lucky 9 Lanes in south Richmond has been bought out by a U.K.-based company and will be rebranded “Splitsville.”
Hollywood Bowl Group has bought out three Canadian bowling alleys, one in Guelph, Ont., one Waterloo, Ont., and the Riverport Lucky 9 Lanes.
Hollywood Bowl Group owns 69 bowling alleys in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and now 12 in Canada.
Lucky 9, which was previously Zone Bowling, will be renamed “Splitsville Riverport.”
The bowling alley, located near No. 6 Road and Steveston Highway, also has an adjacent brewery, Monkey 9 Brew Pub.
Hollywood Bowl Group is listed on the London Stock Exchange.
