A new Japanese eatery serving up small bites and drinks soft-opened this week in Richmond.
Yokai, a tapas and sake bar, opened up near the corner of No. 3 and Cook roads, with the entrance on Cook Road.
The eatery offers items such as pork katsu, miso sablefish, Japanese-style tacos and ceviche, for lunch and dinner.
During its soft opening, Yokai also has a seven-course sample menu for $55 per person.
The restaurant is open seven days a week, serving lunch from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and dinner from 5:30 p.m. to “late.”
However, reservations must be made for dinner.
