A popular Korean photobooth studio with endless customizations is landing in Richmond.
The storefront for Life 4 Cuts' first Canadian flagship studio was recently spotted at Aberdeen Centre.
The Korean chain first landed in Metro Vancouver in 2019, offering a hassle-free photobooth experience in its signature pink machines with a wide selection of frames.
K-pop fans are also able to pose with their favourite performers through special frames created in collaboration with popular groups including Seventeen, Treasure and Zerobaseone.
The self-service studio currently has five locations in Metro Vancouver, having recently opened one in Burnaby’s Crystal Mall.
The “four-cut” photo trend, referring to the four shots in a photo strip, first gained popularity in South Korea.
Its low-stakes and DIY characteristics resonated with local youth amid the current Y2K nostalgia, spawning a photobooth craze that has now expanded to North America.
No opening date has been announced yet for Life 4 Cut’s Richmond location.
