Richmond customers can now have alcohol delivered to their doorstep within an hour.
The Liquor Depot and Liquor Barn in Richmond and six other locations in the Lower Mainland is partnering with alcohol delivery platform Drizly to provide a one-hour liquor delivery service to customers.
Customers can choose their wine, beer or spirits from Drizly and receive the orders within an hour for a delivery fee of $4.99.
“As a leading liquor retailer in North America, we continuously look for innovative ways to improve our service offering,” said Fran Coons, vice president of Alcanna, which owns Liquor Depot and Liquor Barn.
“Expanding our partnership with Drizly into Metro Vancouver is the next step in our goal to enhance life's celebrations for all of our customers.”
All products are sold at the same price as in-store retail cost and App users must purchase a minimum of $20.
Customers can also schedule deliveries when it’s most convenient for them.
Other Liquor Depot and Liquor Barn locations currently providing the one-hour delivery service in the Lower Mainland are Abbotsford, Surrey, Burnaby, Point Grey, Coquitlam and Cambie.
Liquor Depot and Liquor Barn launched their first alcohol-delivery service in the Canadian market in February, 2016 and entered the Edmonton and Calgary markets later that year.
