A Richmond restaurant is on the list of finalists for the top 10 best new restaurants across the country.
Acre Through The Seasons, inside Richmond’s Versante Hotel, is one of 30 nominees in the 22nd annual Canada’s Best New Restaurants, hosted by Air Canada.
The 30 nominees span 15 cities across seven provinces and feature restaurants that are “worthy of note by both domestic and international travellers,” according to Air Canada’s website.
“Canada’s Best New Restaurants is a celebratory guide for discovering the best of dining as you explore Canada, which is incredibly meaningful for us at Air Canada,” said Andy Shibata, brand vice president at Air Canada.
An undercover writer and food critic is then sent on a month-long marathon to sample from the 30 restaurants to list the top 10 winners, which will be announced on Nov. 1 in Toronto.
In addition to Acre, Folke and Suyo Modern Peruvian restaurants in Vancouver, Marilena Cafe in Victoria and Wild Blue in Whistler are also on the list.
