The weekend may have had some rain, but Richmond is now in for a streak of sunny weather. Richmond’s forecast shows 14 days of sun, with steady temperatures throughout this week.

Richmond’s forecast shows 14 days of sun, with steady temperatures throughout this week.

According to Environment Canada, over the next seven days, temperatures are expected to see highs between 20 and 22 C, with lows overnight not dipping below 11 C.

Temperatures may be a bit cooler the following week – with highs averaging around 16 C – but the sun is still expected to be shining throughout.

Full strawberry moon to fill skies

Along with this warm, sunny weather, Richmondites can celebrate the final days of spring by catching the full strawberry moon scheduled to fill Metro Vancouver skies on June 17.

Stargazers should opt to travel as far away from city lights as possible in order to avoid light pollution that will obscure the clarity of heavenly bodies. While this works best in more remote places, anywhere that has a higher elevation will also provide more ideal viewing conditions.
