Richmond Mounties are asking for witnesses of a fatal collision to come forward.
The crash happened around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 10, when a grey Toyota Tacoma pickup collided with a Ford Escape.
Police say the Toyota Tacoma was entering onto Bridgeport Road from Sea Island Way when it crashed with the Ford Escape, which had been travelling eastbound on Bridgeport Road.
The driver of the Ford Escape was taken to hospital but later succumbed to their injuries, Richmond RCMP said. Mounties have not released any further details about the victim.
The driver of the Toyota Tacoma remained on scene, and was cooperative with police.
Richmond RCMP are now asking anyone who witnessed the crash to come forward, and for drivers to review any dash-cam video.
