Personal watercraft have been allegedly stolen from marinas around the Moray Bridge.

Richmond RCMP are warning owners of sea-doos, personal watercraft, after receiving four reports of alleged thefts within days of each other.

Between Oct. 2 and Oct. 6, Richmond RCMP received four theft reports involving sea-doos from marinas near the Moray Bridge.

Three of the reports are associated to a single marina.

"As many owners have already dry-docked their personal watercraft for the season, we are recommending anyone who stores their personal watercraft in Marinas in that area to check on it," says Cpl. Adriana O’Malley, Richmond RCMP media relations officer.

One of the stolen sea-doos has been recovered while three remain outstanding.

Anyone who may have witnessed, or have information regarding these alleged thefts, is asked to call Richmond RCMP at 604-278-1212. Should you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crimestoppers by phone at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or go to www.solvecrime.ca.
