A union representing City of Richmond workers is hosting a free movie night at South Arm Park this weekend.
Community members are invited to join CUPE Local 718 on Saturday, July 13 for a free screening of Night at the Museum starring Ben Stiller, Carla Gugino, Dick Van Dyke, Mickey Rooney, Bill Cobbs and Robin Williams.
All ages are welcome and community members are asked to bring their own blankets or chairs.
The screening will take place on the field south of the outdoor pool from 9 to 10:45 p.m. Free parking is available at South Arm Park, South Arm Community Centre, McRoberts secondary and Whiteside elementary.
CUPE Local 718 represents the City of Richmond's inside workers as well as workers at Richmond Public Library and the Richmond Olympic Oval.
