Richmond RCMP has issued a warning about potential traffic disruptions in the city centre area later this afternoon.
Police are expecting potential disruptions as a result of an event that may be taking place in the area. Traffic on Minoru Boulevard between Westminster Highway and Alderbridge Way may be impacted between 4:30 and 6 p.m.
RCMP officers will be on scene to monitor the event.
Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
Richmond News understands the road is being closed for a mass rally connected to the ongoing Sheraton hotel workers' strike.
