Western Canada's largest annual field lacrosse tournament is coming to Richmond this weekend.

Richmond Roadrunner's 15th annual Richmond Romp Field Lacrosse Tournament is once again taking over Minoru Park and Richmond secondary fields from Nov. 8 to 11.

Close to 60 teams with players travelling from North Vancouver Island and as far east as Penticton will be taking part in the tournament.

Richmond Romp originally began as an eight-team jamboree in 2008 with only two divisions but has since grown.

Age groups in the tournament include U11 (Tiers 1 and 2), U13 (Tiers 1 and 2), U15 (Tiers 1 and 2), U17 and U18.

Richmond will have one team taking part in the annual tournament.
