Dear Editor,
Who is doing the planning of Steveston?
I cannot buy a spool of thread, needles, a pair of scissors, nails or screws, a hammer, a screw driver, a paint brush, a piece of fabric, a can of paint, duct tape, a small board, any type of rope, a tarp or a bucket.
I have to drive 10 kilometres to a hardware store, no fabric store exists in Richmond, although there is a paint store five kilometres away — yippee.
If I did not have a car I would be really stuck. Many people do not even own a car anymore.
We badly need a home-grown hardware store.
Can anyone help us?
