Richmond's Ironwood area and the farmlands to the west were affected by a power outage.
According to BC Hydro's outage map, the power was out since around 2:30 p.m. between No. 3 Rd and Hwy 99 south of Steveston Hwy. 337 customers were affected.
Power was restored shortly after 4 p.m. The cause for the outage was a downed tree across BC Hydro's wires.
