A job fair is coming to Lansdowne Centre on August 19, and Richmond employers are ready to receive applications and speak to prospective hires for over 100 jobs.
Positions available include retail, marketing, food service, administration, delivery drivers, technology, and customer service, and employers such as WorkBC and SUCCESS, T&T Supermarket, Winners & HomeSense, Amazon, and Kwantlen Polytechnic University will be in attendance.
To make the most of the event, attendees are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resumes to hand out on the day.
The job fair is co-hosted by the mall and tenant Richmond Centre for Disability, which offers career resources for people with disabilities and youth with barriers to employment.
“We know a lot of businesses are looking for staff as we head into the fall and the busy holiday season, so we want to do something to bring local job seekers and employers together.
"There will be lots of great positions for people looking for their first job or their next career move,” said Bronwyn Bailey, marketing manager at Lansdowne Centre.
The job fair will be held from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 19 at the Kiosk Court near Best Buy in Lansdowne Centre. More information is available on Lansdowne Centre's website.
