Pedestrian struck at a Steveston intersection on Tuesday afternoon

Motorists are asked to find an alternate route in Steveston this afternoon.

According to Twitter posts, a pedestrian was hit at the intersection of Steveston Highway and No. 1 Road on Tuesday.

Southbound traffic on No. 1 Road is blocked with single-lane traffic moving on the northbound side.

Police are at the scene.
