The king tide rose to about five metres on the Fraser River in Richmond on Friday morning.
There were no reports of water breaching the shoreline along the city’s dyke trails, but Richmond News reader Allisa Ritchie captured this image at around 10:45 a.m.
Ritchie, who walks the dyke trails most days, said she had never seen the water so high at the marina on the south dyke, at the foot of No. 2 Road.
